· UD carbon; 10gsm to 1,000gsm, up to 50 inch (1,270mm) width, PAN modulus range from 24 ton (235 GPa) to 46 ton (451 GPa), Pitch fibers for higher modulus up to 90 ton (883 GPa), all with or without E-glass or carbon scrim.
· UD E glass & S2 glass prepregs, with or without scrim.
· Woven carbon prepregs; 90gsm 1K to >600gsm 12K, plain weave, 2/2 twill, satin weaves and biaxial.
· Woven E-glass prepregs; mainly solution coated products with little or zero tack, for high pressure laminating and heated tube rolling. We can offer competitively priced [NEMA] G10, G11, FR4, and FR5 epoxy, as well as G7 silicone, available in a variety of colors.
· Cross-ply prepreg; this is our technical improvement on standard biaxial prepreg. It is basically multiple layers of UD prepreg rolled together, offering precise fiber alignment, with no Z-direction stitch, so no pinholes / fisheyes where the stitch comes to the surface (and some reduction in weight).
· UD prepreg narrow tapes; down to 3mm width.
· Flax based natural fibre 'bio' prepregs.
· SMC 'Forged' carbon - randomly oriented, recombined chopped pieces of UD carbon prepreg.
· Tow-preg.
· Spread tow prepregs, other decorative prepregs, resin films and film adhesives.
· ‘Blackmond’ is our technical improvement on standard spread tow prepreg. Blackmond is produced by first producing UD prepreg, slitting it, then weaving the prepreg in a cold environment. Blackmond prepregs offer higher mechanical properties due to the increased fiber alignment, and reduction of fiber crimp. The fibers are tension neutral, resulting in tows expanding and filling the interstices during cure, rather than shrinking like a woven fabric and leaving pin holes.
